Located in the heart of Gurugram, the university has a sprawling campus with world-class infrastructure. The University established its Law School in 2014 with the intention of providing a rich academic environment for students and preparing them for the legal profession. It offers a diverse range of legal courses, which also comply with Bar Council of India and UGC rules.
The SGTU Law Faculty offers the following courses:

The Faculty of Law also organizes seminars, round tables and conferences on contemporary legal issues which are chaired by legal luminaries from academia, the judiciary, the public and the private sector. - Nukkad Natak based on consumer rights in India
- Legal awareness camp on the theme of crimes against minors
- Legal awareness camp based on dowry related deaths and domestic violence
- Legal awareness camp for the prevention of female feticides
The faculty has adopted a reflective and collaborative pedagogy in teaching. Each branch of law learns to meet professional challenges and find a job. The law class are futuristic and structured to increase practical know-how. This helps promote experiential learning. In addition, quizzes and legal debates are regularly organized to enrich students’ knowledge. A national moot court competition is held each year, involving leading law schools across the country.
The Faculty of Law follows a study program comparable to that of universities of national and public law. The faculty offers interaction with prominent lawyers and law firms, making it easy to handle cases on-line. Also, collaborations with foreign professors allow students to better understand the legal framework. The university has signed memoranda of understanding with professional institutions such as National Law School University, Banglore, Indian Bar Association, CUTS Institute for Regulation & Competition (CIRC).
The Faculty of Law runs summer and winter internship programs where students can intern in law firms, district courts, high courts as well as the Supreme Court. Students can also learn as they earn by working in multinational companies and courts. It gives students hands-on exposure and helps them develop their skills.
