Former Division II National Champion wrestler Cody Law will make his next Bellator 256 appearance as the top-rated prospect looks undefeated in his mixed martial arts career.

Law will face undefeated compatriot Nathan Ghareeb in a featherweight bout as part of the preliminary card on April 9 with the show taking place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn.

After a brief stint in the Penn State wrestling program, Law transferred to the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown where he twice became All American at the Division II level and he won the National Championship at 157 pounds in his senior. season.

After his wrestling career ended, Law decided to devote his full attention to combat where he also began training with the coaches and athletes of the American Top Team in Florida. Since then, Law has gone 2-0 in the Bellator cage with a submission win in his debut and a TKO finish in his last appearance.

Now Law will return in April while taking on Ghareeb, who won two first round knockouts to start his professional career.

Another fight added to the Bellator 256’s preliminary card will be former title challenger Talita Nogueira back in action as she takes on Jessica Borga in a featherweight clash.

Nogueira will be looking to break a two-fight slippage after falling to former Bellator champion Julia Budd and then losing a razor-sharp split decision on her last outing in 2019.

As for Borga, she will be looking for the biggest win of her career after beating Amber Leibrock on her Bellator debut in 2019.

Bellator 256 will be featured by a pair of fights in the upcoming Light Heavyweight Grand Prix as former champion Ryan Bader takes on Lyoto Machida while former UFC contender Corey Anderson takes on newcomer Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov with the winners moving to tournament semifinals.
