If you’ve been watching Kandi Burruss since Season 2, you might think you’re an expert at The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member… but have you ever taken a full college course on his life?

Georgia State University’s College of Law will be offering a course based on “The Legal Life of Kandi Burruss.” Kandi shared the news in an August 11 Instagram post, writing, “I am so honored that Georgia State University College of Law has decided to take a law course on my life! Wow !! Thank you!”

“They will go through the different business and career choices I made from a legal standpoint, and that’s a lot to go through! Kandi explained, thanking Professor Mo Ivory for making the class possible.

In a statement, Ivory explained why she chose Kandi as the subject of her class, which is part of the Entertainment, Sports and Media Law Initiative, which aims to equip students with skills that are not always taught. in a traditional law. Classroom.

“I chose Kandi because she has an amazing career, which spans all aspects of the entertainment industry, from music, television and live performance to licensing, clothing and more,” said she declared. “Having worked with Kandi in the past I knew she was the perfect choice. She runs her business and it shows in her success, but all the while she is completely accessible and ready to share her lessons learned. Could not be happier that my students are learning law through Kandi’s career.

According to the statement, the course will give students the opportunity to play a role in contract negotiations based on Kandi’s career, as well as hear from some of the professionals who have helped shape those decisions in real life, including his mother, her manager and her lawyers.

“Every contract you sign contributes to your overall dreams and goals,” Kandi said. “I am delighted to see the students gain insight into some of the contracts that have shaped my career so far. ”
