UC Berkeley Law School Groups Ban Jewish Speakers

Progressives simply cannot stop their extremist anti-Israel stances.

This time, it’s UC Berkeley that once again boasts its most offensive far-left activism. Not content with asking unvaccinated students to mask up during flu season or barring white people from common areas, students have focused on keeping Jews from speaking on campus.

This new report from the Jewish Journal comes just days after “The Squad” member Rashida Tlaib issued her edict that progressives cannot support Israel:

Well, the far-left students at Berkeley Law School seem to have taken that message to heart.

According to the report, nine groups of law students at Berkeley Law School have changed their bylaws to ensure that any speaker who supports Israel or Zionism will never be allowed to speak.

Away from the fringe groups, those who have made the changes include the “Women of Berkeley, the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, the Middle East and North African Law Students Association, Afro-descendant law students and the Queer Caucus”.

Berkeley changes are probably illegal

As the Journal notes, that means law school dean Erwin Chemerinsky would be banned from speaking to these groups of students. Also impacted? Ninety percent of Jewish students studying law.

Not only is it offensive, dangerous and inexcusable, but it’s also probably illegal.

Limiting speech has become one of the fundamental tenets of modern liberalism. By twisting and ultimately destroying the meaning of words to fit their purposes, the left has made the absurd claim that hearing speech it doesn’t like constitutes violence.

These delusional, anti-reality claims justify discrimination, in their minds.

Too often, this discrimination now strikes Jews who dare to support Israel.

The radicalization of the left continues to rush towards its logical outcome; silence anyone who disagrees with his beliefs.

Freedom of speech has no value to them, only the application of progressive narratives.

Those who claim to be on the side of “tolerance” are once again shown for the hypocrites that they really are.

Of course, this is happening at Berkeley Law School, where professors think men can get pregnant.
